So the language fair was today and a bunch of nearby high schools came to my university to check out what kind of languages are offered.
I was sat at the Korean table and helped out writing names in Korean and answering questions about the Tangun myth.
It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Occasionally I would get a person with some really ghetto ass name asking me to write it out. Unfortunately I don’t know how to spell ghetto names, so I just gave them names like 가방 (kabang = bag) and 연필 (yeonpil = pencil). Yea I know I shouldn’t do that, but I honestly didn’t feel like sitting there trying to figure it out.
Oh and every now and then people would walk up to the Korean table and ask if I could help them translate the Japanese or the Chinese questions -__-;;
Also I’ve never been mistaken as Japanese by so many people in one day -__-;;
